Shows take place in
a unique, inflatable, portable theatre complex made up of five inflatable structures - an entrance lobby, merchandising area, auditorium, backstage area and a connecting tunnel which measure 240 feet long by 150 feet wide and provide 17,000 sq.ft. of floor space.
The complex provides ample room for buggy parking, merchandising, a food and drink area and toilets with baby changing facilities.
The auditorium incorporates the stage and raised, theatre-style seating.
The backstage area provides space for dressing rooms and storage.
The inflatable structures have identical connecting door openings so that they can be installed in different configurations to suit the available space at each location.
The design also allows the theatre complex to be extended providing a flexible solution which can be adapted to suit changing requirements.
A variety of anchoring options permit the theatre to be installed on different surfaces including grass, asphalt and concrete.
Despite its size, the complex can be installed in one day with minimal labour and with no requirement for cranes or equipment for working at height.
Portable theatres are becoming increasingly popular and Tectoniks have supplied custom designs for clients including The BBC, UEFA and Honda Formula 1 Racing.
More theatres are in production and will be launched later this year.
